Brand New Flyers!!
Dating back to the 1990's, TROID has always had an emphasis on 'street da'wah,' the most basic way of calling to Allaah, stopping and talking to people and dsitributing information and knowledge. As this project of da'wah (to the non-Muslims) grew, it became part of the islaam.ca group of projects - all aimed at spreading Islam to the non-Muslim audience. Currently we are seeking to take our pamphlets to the next level, re-inventing them in a manner which is most suitable and most inspiring to the non-Muslim reader, there are six in the 'Islamic Information Series':
- Common Misconceptions about God (First to be printed in shaa' Allaah)
- 7 'Fundamental' Questions about Islam
- Muhammad: A Witness, Bearer of Glad Tidings and a Warner
- Misconceptions: Islam is only for Arabs, Do Muslims Worship Muhamamd? Does Islam Degrade Women?
- Women in Islam
- Uprooting the Forces of Evil: Islam's War on Terror
By the permission of Allaah, the Most Merciful, then your kind support - we hope to transform each one of the 6 pamphlets into new, exciting, presentable flyers of the higest quality and presentation. These flyers would be distributed throughout Canada and possibly provide a blueprint for other Islamic organisations in the Western World to re-distribute accordingly. There is a tremendous amount of blessing and reward in aiding such a project and Allaah is Most Kind.
Comparision of old flyer (out of circulation) and proposed new ones:
What is needed?

We hope to print 1-a-month till its completion. The initial need is only $1200 to print 10,000 or 11 cents a flter (despite its super-high quality). Aiding this project also aids the coordination of its usage across the world in shaa' Allaah to the benefits are tremendous. We hope to display/announce our second flyer in December, pending the sucess of this one - we ask Allaah to faciliate it ameen.
Send a Muslim for Umrah/Da'wah
Established in Jan '04 - By the grace of Allaah, the majestic, the 5000 sq. ft. facility was established and has paved the way for the first salafee centre in Toronto as well as all classes, seminars, services and events connected to all projects.
www.troid.ca was established on June 28th 1998, originally established to provide an online presence for our local da'wah projects, the site grew over the last decade to become a source of Islaamic learning in the english language providing articles and audio, lectures, booklets and translations to the ummah. www.islaam.ca was established in March 2006 to fill the void of Islamic presentation sites (purely calling to Islaam upon the methodology of the anbiyah). islaam.ca features articles, audio and unique interviews with converts to Islaam. It also has an insightful forum addressing common issues connect to Islaam in the West.
Established in 2001, TROID Publications is one of our most important projects aimed at spreading the writings of the scholars to the English speaking world. Our first publication was ‘The Creed of the Four Imaams’, a book geared towards expounding upon the realisation that the four famous Imaams were indeed upon the same core beliefs. A book that we hope will promote unity amongst the Muslims. From this several publications have been published. As of 2012, we have published 17 books.
In 2000, we began to produce CDs in the an effort to introduce a digital format that would preseve quality and offer a medium that could be transferred through various digital solutions. Our CD publications were digitally recorded using industry leading microphones and input devices. CDs were carefully edited and tracked according to topics, Q&A etc. for a smooth quality product. CDs gave way to MP3 permanently in 2010.
Each year, we have established various seminars and courses, this aspect has increased with the establishment of Masjidul-Furqaan & Islaamic Centre at 874-A Weston Rd. The following are some of the seminars and courses from recent years:
Originally founded upon Islaamic cassettes, TROIDStore was created to create financial interdepence for our activities. Established online since 2000, the online store was redesigned and reformatted in 2006 (see www.troid.ca/store). In Ramadaan 2004, the local store at 874-A Weston Rd. was introduced to the local community. During the past years, great investment has been made to increase the inventory of the store so that one day it will be one of the best online and local shopping resources, in a position to supplement the da'wah activities of TROID.
From the late 90's till present day, we have established classes locally, which periodically have been broadcasted online. The centre has established classes for new muslims, tajweed, Islamic sciences consistantly throughout the years. For up to date information, visit our 'Events and Programmes' section or our 'Calender'.
A growing Islamic library has been established at the Islaamic centre mainly through donations by members of the Islaamic community. An online book drive was established in 2004 which is ongoing. The library contains approximately 200 english books, 500 arabic books as well as other languages. It also has an audio lounge (listening booth) for qur'aan / zoned internent access (to authentic websites only). The resource is provided free of charge and we hope to make it one of the largest Islamic libraries in N. America, free for the public to use.
Besides providing introductory Islaamic classes for our new Muslims, we maintain a database of all people who accept Islaam through the centre. All new Muslims are contacted periodically to see how they are progressing in their Religion and to address any concerns or questions they may have. They are reminded about our classes, invited to the centre and provided with reading material essential to their development as Muslims.
