Benefit: Where Is the Best Place for a Woman to Seek Knowledge?

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hādī al-Wādiʿī (رحمه الله) was asked: “Is the woman who never leaves her house, not even to go to the masjid, better than the woman who seeks knowledge and goes to the masjid?”

The shaykh (رحمه الله) stated: “A woman should remain in her house and seek knowledge since the Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Do not prevent the female slaves of Allāh from going to the masājid of Allāh; however, their houses are better for them.’”
